Seaweed Crisps

Seaweed with an added crunch! This scrumptious goodness from the sea is coated with a crispy layer to grant an irresistible and finger-licking snack, making it the perfect “better-for-you” alternative to potato crisps!

Ingredients

  • Egg wash (1 egg, pinch of salt & sugar, splash of soy sauce)

  • 1 spring roll pastry or rice paper

  • 1 sheet seaweed (nori)

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Brush egg wash on one side of the pastry/rice paper.

  2. Press seaweed onto the egg-washed side.

  3. Air-dry until no longer sticky.

  4. Cut into bite-size pieces.

  5. Deep fry until crisp; drain and season if desired.
